Site specific application maps

The maybe most important step in precision farming is the calculation of site specific application maps. Ideally, they should consider all the information sources available such as yield maps, soil maps, topographical maps as well as local experience. Today several specialist software packages are able to convert all these data into application maps. Crucial is however, that the models used in the calculations are giving "true" values. Hence, models should primarily be based on representative experimental data.
